After making the move from Auburn to Atlanta, I was fortunate enough to kick my sales skills into full throttle as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for Saia LTL Freight. As an SDR, I manage and grow multiple regional territories throughout the nation by producing quality leads through inside sales. I work cohesively with a team of 20+ outside sales reps as an integral role to increase lead generation and sales volume while developing key relationships with potential new customers by raising brand awareness and executing sales strategies.

I also consistently met all goals for consumer involvement with the #UpForWhatever app. Along with customer service, hospitality, and social media marketing, I also grew my event planning skills by planning and executing three+ large-scale promotional events while also executing 40+ small-scale promotional events where I had the chance to get a more personal, hands on approach with consumers.

Victoria's Secret PINK. Auburn University Representative
July 2012-August 2014
After my freshman year of college, I wanted to find an internship that would help grow and shape me professionally. I wanted an opportunity. In July 2012, I was selected to work for Victoria's Secret PINK as an Auburn University Representative. I was flown out to corporate in Columbus, OH where I learned all that was expected and received all the tools I would need to succesfully make an impact in the Auburn market. Then, using gorilla marketing tactics, I was in charge of hosting four events a semester, each hosting 300-500+ girls. This is also where I found my love of social media. By incentivizng an event on instagram, we decided to engage the girls on account to suggest their organizations and whoever had the most likes after a week won a private party for their group. This challenge lasted seven days and our instagram followers jumped from 600 to 1800, IT TRIPLED IN A SINGLE WEEK. I was in awe and so, the power of social media has impacted and inspired me since.

Institut Catholique de Paris
2014
In the summer of 2014 I studied abroad in Paris, France learning the French language and being immersed in Parisian culture. I lived in a Catholic convent in the Parisian neighorhood Montparnasse and attended classes at the Institut Catholique de Paris. Although this was a foreign language program, I learned just as much about foreign business. My time in Europe was not confined to Paris. I took many excursions to different destinations around Western Europe including Nice, Amsterdam, Venice, London, Dublin, Rome, and Florence. Throughout my travels and during my time in the classroom, I learned invaluable lessons about other cultures and the differences between the nature of business abroad and here in the United States. My experience studying abroad cultivated international relationships with fellow students from various countries around the world.
